5th October, 2009![]() On Saturday 17 October 2009 Andy and Martin will be making their first-ever appearance in the North of England at the Star and Shadow, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, at the invitation of Road to Rimini - a brotherhood of visionary DJ's committed to four decades of electronic dance music, with a focus on classic innovations originating in Italy, Germany and the UK during the 70's and 80's. The night starts at 10pm - Oppenheimer Analysis will be onstage around midnight. |

Matthias Schuster and Trautonia Capra will be making their first-ever UK appearance at the Old Blue Last, Shoreditch, London, on 31 August 2009 (Bank Holiday Monday). Doors open at 8pm - admission is free. Support acts will be Katja Von Kassel and Oppenheimer Analysis. The event has been organised by Brave Exhibitions - the London- and Berlin-based club with a reputation for the unconventional, the eccentric and the extraordinary. Matthias has been an integral part of the German electronic scene since the late 1970's, and became well-known as a member of Geisterfahrer and Bal Pare. Together with his muse, partner and theremin-specialist Trautonia, he will be performing music from the Das Institut and Im Namen Des Volkes projects. This will take place at Corsica Studios near the Elephant and Castle in London over the weekend of 10-11 July, with a wide range of fascinating electronic musicians and DJ's from the 80's, 90's and 00's. Oppenheimer Analysis will be performing on the same bill as their Clone CLassic Cuts label-mates Fred Ventura, Fockewulf 190 and Alden Tyrell. |

15th March, 2009![]() The first Brighton Electrofest will be held at the Komedia Theatre, 44-47 Gardner Street, Brighton BN1 1UN, on Saturday 4 April 2009. The event runs from 3.30pm to midnight and features one of the UK's best-known Depeche Mode tribute bands, Speak and Spell, the electro-chanteuse Katja von Kassel, Oppenheimer Analysis, 80s synth-revivalists This Mono Galaxy and electro-goth evangelists, Digitalis. Other acts are to be confirmed. DJ Plastikmann (Mike Wehmeier) from Neon Welt in Bochum will be providing deep minimal 80s electro dance sounds between bands and at the aftershow party. Tickets are £8.00 from the Komedia and at the door. |

21st September, 2008![]() Sadly Jonteknik was unable to support us at Neon Welt due to uncertainty caused by the Channel tunnel fire. However Hertzinfarkt and AWOL both gave great performances, including a wonderful joint version of The Devil's Dancers! Diana of Hertzinfarkt joined Andy on stage for a fantastic rendition of Subterranean Desire. Thanks again to Plastikmann, Andreas Sippel and Martin for all their hard work and expertise in setting up the sound system and lighting.

23rd August, 2008![]() On Thursday 25 September 2008 Andy and Martin will be playing live in the UK for the first time in 24 years - at Synthetic, a great new electronic club at the Cavendish Arms, Hartington Road, Stockwell, London SW8 (a friendly, spacious pub with easy parking). Also playing will be the Brighton-based Digitalis, Looptron and Cosmic Intent from Switzerland. The evening starts at 8pm - tickets are £6 on the door or £5 with flyer. Andy and Martin will be giving away twenty copies of a limited cd-r single containing their two most recent recordings, Washington and One Minute To Midnight. Copies of the Atomic Age and Wissenschaftler cd-r's will be available for sale. |

21st April, 2007![]() Together with DJ Jana, DJ Mike Klein co-organised a great show at the Cafe Wagner in Jena, near Leipzig, East Germany. This featured three fascinating bands: Solitude FX and A.W.O.L from Germany, and Sista Mannen Pa Jorden from Sweden. Martin reports that this was a tremendously satisfying show, highlighting a huge level of enthusiasm and involvement in minimal electronics by all those involved. The three bands received a great reception, and the PA sound quality was excellent. The aftershow party was a success and continued until 6am! |

Thanks also to the audience and our many friends and fans (including Mike Klein, Plastikmann, Andreas Sippel, Martin Kleefeld, DJ Echo Frau, Mark and Paul of Sudeten Creche) for making the journey to Sint Niklaas. We enjoyed meeting the other acts, Twilight Ritual and Martial Canterel, and, as always, were impressed by the huge level of support for early 80s electronic music. They will be performing at the Minimal Synth night at OJC Kompas, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. Also appearing will be the cult 80s Belgian band, Twilight Ritual. In addition, DJ Cerrone and DJ Aime le Chevalier , both from Belgium, will be playing a wide range of rare and unusual minimal electronic sounds. Tickets cost 10 Euros and the doors will be open at 2030. Oppenheimer Analysis will be onstage at 2130. |

Thanks to Mike, his family, DJ Lieven (Aime le Chevalier) and the club organisers for making our first visit to Southern Germany such an incredible experience. Special thanks must also go to Veronica Vasicka and Marc Houle of Minimal Wave, DJ Plastikmann of Neon-Welt and Martin Kleefeld of Minimal-Elektronik for making such a great effort to be there. The audience were amazing in every way, and it was wonderful to be among so many enthusiastic lovers of early 80s music! These were truly the things that dreams are made of!
